Josie lives with her husband in Germany. One day, she was driving along an empty street, where she found a stray cat sitting quietly. He seemed to be waiting for someone to get him. But instead, he fled into a tiny, narrow hole when Josie followed him. He hid in a deep hole because he was afraid of a person trying to get close to him.
Josie tried to nudge him lightly with a stick, but he refused to move. So, she grabbed the cat with her jacket and put him in the back seat of her car. Josie was glad she could help him.
No veterinarian opened their clinic when Josie found a stray cat. So she took him home first. The poor cat immediately began to eat. He was delighted. After the poor animal had eaten the food, the kind woman wiped its face and cleansed it.
As Josie began wiping the cat’s cheeks, he rubbed his head against her hand. But the kind woman has already fallen for the cat’s charm. The Animal Rescue Organization contacted Josie and told her that they could come and pick up the cat immediately.
She had to let go of the cat with a heavy heart. Eventually, however, Josie tried to visit him. But only after the first month, the veterinarians allowed her to meet with him. The poor cat was just skin and bones. Every rib of the poor animal was visible. However, he was full of energy.
After their first meeting, Josie met with him every week. When Josie picked him up, the cat rubbed his head against her hair or face. When Josie’s husband met him for the first time, the cat became instantly attached to him.
After spending 2 and a half months on the rescue, he returned home. Josie named him Lucian. The first night the cat really slept on his feet. Day by day his energy grew. He was very loud. Lucian did not want to part with his masters. So whenever one of them went to the toilet, he would sit right in front of the door and meow as loudly as he could. The cat completely turned into a beautiful and gentle cat, which the owners loved with all their hearts.
