Recently firefighters found a dog and a lady stuck in the Los Angeles River’s high current.

Luckily the mission came to success when emergency services went to the Burbank Boulevard and Woodley Avenue community. They used a rope to drop a firefighter and pull the dog and the lady out. The mission was completed perfectly and the German Shepherd mix named Scooby was safe.

Soon the woman was out too. The LAFD Captain II Erik Scott warned that when such accidents happen and other people uninformed of the circumstances want to help they easily become victims. So if you see an animal in need and want to help first of all contact the proper organizations for better and faster rescue.
