Robert Irwin is the only son of Steve Irwin, aka The Crocodile Hunter, and like his father, Robert is also recognized as a TV personality, zookeeper, conservationist, and wildlife photographer.

Robert hosts a show called Robert’s Real Life Adventures on his family zoo’s internal television network. He also co-hosted Discovery’s Wild But True series and co-created the book series Robert Irwin: Dinosaur Hunter.

Currently, the teenager stars on the Animal Planet series Crikey! It’s The Irwins with his mother, Terri, and elder sister, Bindi.

The 18-year-old also works at the Australia Zoo, where he does everything his late father used to do in his life, such as feeding the animals, wrestling crocodiles, and handling snakes.

Although Robert is just a teenager, currently, he’s being encouraged by his elder sister, Bindi Irwin, to date someone and think about his future seriously.

Recently the wildlife warrior appeared in an interview with E! News and revealed that Bindi is after him to get settled in life and find a partner for himself.

“It’s pretty funny because, of course, my sister has gotten married and had a kid, and there’s always a lot of rumors that go around,” he told E! News. “‘Bindi’s having a second kid’ or ‘they’re having triplets.’ There’s always so many crazy things that happen so Bindi always says, ‘Robert, it’s your turn now. You gotta find someone to take the heat off me!’”

The young zookeeper said that he is single right now and will eventually find someone, but he’s in no hurry to get there.

“We’ll get there, one day in the future,” he laughed.

The conservationist added that right now, he is fully focused on being the best uncle to his 18-month-old niece, Grace Warrior. Grace is the daughter of his 24-year-old sister, Bindi, whom she shares with husband, Chandler Powell.

“She is just hitting all the milestones,” said Robert. “It’s so surreal being an uncle. It’s the most amazing thing. It’s the best job I’ve ever had, that’s for sure. She’s just so full of energy. She’s so determined. She’s a focused and intelligent little kid…She’s the smartest member of the family.”

Speaking of his new book titled Robert Irwin’s Australia, he said that the book is about his journey as a photographer and how his photography is connected to his passion for wildlife.

“A lot of my love and passion for photography actually came from my dad. He was an extremely passionate human being in front of the lens, but behind the lens, he was very well versed as well. He loved getting out and taking images.”

He added, “I’ve always had such a love for wildlife and conservation and continuing this legacy that he started and he created. For me, going to work behind the lens is really, really meaningful for me and it’s a very special connection to my dad and everything that he was about.”
