My mother-in-law and father-in-law are very different people. My father-in-law thinks that a woman has to do what a man says, no matter she wants to or not. My mother-in-law lived whole life like this, but now she is not as poor as before.
Yesterday my father-in-law came home and said to set the table, guests were coming. My mother-in-law asked who was coming, my father-in-law said, “What does it have to do with your work, just set the table?” She said: I should know who is coming so that I can understand what to do. It turned out that my father-in-law’s brother and his family were coming from the village. One time, that brother;s wife harassed my mother-in-law so much that she even ran away from the house.
To this day, my mother-in-law cannot forgive her. That’s why, when she found out who the visitors were, she said: “I won’t put even a piece of bread for them” and left.
