In 2022, police officers were responding to a rather difficult situation when they were chasing down a kidnapper. Video of the footage has now gone public, and it includes an unfortunate incident.

15-year-old Savannah Graziano had already been reported missing by her family. They thought that her father may have taken her, as he had recently killed her mother, Tracy, outside of the school.

The shooting occurred on the day prior to the incident that was caught on video. Police were able to determine the location of the vehicle and considered him to be armed and dangerous. In an attempt to escape, he pulled his daughter into the situation.

For 45 minutes, he was chased by the police and was firing out the window at the officers. Eventually, he spun out of control and ended up on the side of the highway. Deputies on the scene then shot him and killed him.

Savannah was also in the truck at the time against her will. Officers were instructing her to get out of the pickup truck and come over to them, but she was also shot and killed. When she was taken to the hospital, she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Now that the aerial footage has been released to the public two years later, it is horrible to see the incident in such a way. It was released under the California Public Records Act and includes audio that instructed Savannah to leave the vehicle.

An officer was telling her: “Passenger, get out! Come here! Come to me! Come, come, come, Walk, walk, walk…”

You can then see her falling to the ground, with an officer telling others to stop shooting her.

An investigation has been launched into Savannah’s death and her uncle is expecting justice. He said: “There needs to be better training so that unarmed people aren’t killed.”
