Judy Obregon was driving on a busy road when she noticed a small opossum lying on the ground.
The poor animal seemed to be struck by an air gun. When the woman came closer she realized that the opossum was pregnant and was too weak.
As the founder of The Abandoned Ones ‘Saving Animals in Danger’– animal rescue in Fort Worth, Texas– Judy had experience with animal rescue missions. But not with smaller animals. So she called Tabatha. They took the opossum in a box special for her. The opossum’s name was Angel.
Judy called her husband to take Angel to the veterinary clinic where it turned out that she had lots of health issues. Soon she felt better and had a chance to be released into the wild again.
