My mom got ill, but I can’t stay near her, as I live abroad, I told her I would hire a nurse until she got better, but my mom said things to me that I could hardly hold back tears.

I have been married and living abroad for 19 years. My mom’s health is not good right now. In summer I stayed with her and she got even worse. I can’t go and leave her in this condition. But I can’t stay long also. I decided to hire a nurse for my mother, so that she takes care of mama.

I told my mother that I decided something like that, she got upset with me. She said, I became a burden to you.

Then she said. “Put me in a nursing home, you won’t spend any money, I’ll be with people my own age, I will have a good time, I’ll be taken care of, and you’ll have peace of mind”. I couldn’t stop crying, I didn’t even think about doing something like that. Now I have decided to change my life and be with my mother, she needs me more than everyone.
