A heartwarming moment is captured on camera when this toddler sings ‘You Are My Sunshine’ to dying cat. 14-year-old Bailey has been a beloved member of this family for over a decade. Bailey is especially close to young Abby and the two share a special bond. One of Abby’s favorite pastimes was singing to the attentive cat. And the one song that they always came back to was ‘You Are My Sunshine.’

You make me happy when skies are gray

This is one of those classic songs that we all know and love. When you hear the lyrics, it takes you back to a memory or place that is full of emotion. Today, Abby is singing to her furry friend, but sadly, it will be the last serenade the two shared. Just hours after this moment was filmed, Bailey passed away from kidney failure. Even though he is no longer here on Earth, Bailey’s memory continues to live on. And now, this bittersweet moment between these two pals will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Bailey.
